About UpLeagues

Amateur football in Egypt is huge and almost entirely invisible. People play every week for years and own nothing that proves it — no record, no stats, no way to show a stranger what kind of player they are.

UpLeagues exists to fix that. Every player gets a profile that grows with every match: six attributes rated by the people who were actually on the pitch, a league table that updates itself, and a history that belongs to them.

How the rating works

After a match, everyone who checked in rates everyone else — teammates and opponents. Those two groups are averaged separately and weighted equally, because friends inflate and rivals deflate, and doing it this way cancels both. Once a group has five voters, the highest and lowest are dropped, so one loyal mate or one bad loser cannot move your number.

Your recent matches count for more than your old ones, and everyone starts near the middle and earns their way out of it. A single brilliant afternoon will not make you a nine. That is the point: the number is worth something because it is hard to fake.

Nobody ever sees who gave which score. Only the average is public. That is what makes it possible to rate an opponent honestly.

What it is not

UpLeagues is not a social network, a chat app, or a place to book pitches. It is a record of how you actually play, kept by the people you play with.
